2-Pack Medium Split Elk Antler Dog Chew

I've been purchasing Mountain Dog Chews a couple of years now and highly recommend them as a fantastic product. It's an excellent value for the money spent. More than that too, this is a brand that has been phenomenally good to my dogs from a health standpoint. Both the wargs love chewies but are plagued by allergies and even the mere sight of a pig ear or bully stick seems to give them the dreaded runs. Mountain Dog products have never given my dogs an upset stomach despite tons of enthusiastic gnawing - they're now the only chews I feel comfortable giving them. I like the medium size antlers for my two, 30lbs and 55lbs. The medium is a good size for both dogs as the large size is a bit big for the 30lb pup.

Have two 2-year old standard poodles who have never been interested in any chew toys except for the sides of the house. It took under 2 minutes for them to figure out that your medium-sized center cut antler splits were their "raison d'etre" and they have been happily chomping away. I have to resort to subterfuge to take the antlers away at night time - been seriously growled at!

Our Catahoula LOVES these antler splits. We cannot smell them, but he certainly knew the contents of the shipping bag was his. After he "helped" us open the bag, he was a busy boy enjoying his new treasures. His sparkling white teeth and healthy looking gums make these antlers a must have for our household.

The medium center cut split kept my dog busy for about five hours before there was nothing left. Minus one star due to how much less the split antler holds up compared to the whole one. However, I've never seen my dog go at another antler like he did with this one, and that includes the burrs and the whole antlers.

I have ordered the large split elk antlers before and my dogs loved those. Since their still puppies I though I'd order one size smaller. First, not all of the antlers are completely slept from end to end. Some of them are split only a little (I'm guessing because of the curve of the antler), four of the six were not completely split. Next, I noticed after chewing on the for a few minutes, they started leaving very dark stains on my carpet. The large split antlers did not do this. I had to throw them away. The remaining four antlers seem like they are ok.

These are great antlers and my dog loves them. Shipping is fast. Just be aware the these antlers are much larger tan you will see in pet stores. The "Medium" is larger than the extra large sold in pet stores and the "Large" is huge. Your dog will love them too.

Both my Golden Retriever and my son's Lab mix love the new medium size antlers. I had been getting them the large based on the antlers I had been getting at the "big box" stores that were called "large" but now find that both dogs prefer the medium size in the Mountain Dog Chews Antlers (which I mightr add last longer than the large antlers from the "big box stores")! This just goes to show you the difference in the quality of the product that Mountain Dog sells. I would not hesitate at all to recommend these antlers over those found in the "big box" stores, EVER. I introduced the split product to a 14 week old Chesapeake and she fell in love with it. she will chew on the antler instead of my furniture.
