Medium Deer Chew- 4 Pack

My dog loves these and they last a long time, even for a power chewer! Great quality and the perfect size for my dog!

I like the product very much. It was good quality. But as stated above, LEVI my 10 month old puppy went through one antler in one day. He is a very aggressive chewer, I was told that antlers cut at the base or end of the antler are tougher. Can I order only those? instead of ones cut from the tip! Reply From MTN DOG CHEWS- Ron, Thanks for inquiring. It sounds like you might need to go up a size or two in the mule Deer if your Levi is a known power chewer. I would try the large whole Mule Deer or the Mammoth whole Mule deer chews if the mediums are undersized. We Always cut the Mammoths from the base and they are quite durable, also 85% of the Large whole mule deer chews are base cut and you can just request that you need base cuts in those two larger sizes, however those mediums are usually cut from the middle areas of antler and will not always or often include the base. I was reading a comment 9n one of the rescue sites I'm involved with and saw you mentioned there. These are amazing. The dogs love them and they last so long and don't get choked or sick.

I have ordered antlers about six times and have been very happy with them. Recently I have noticed a change on the web site as well as in the antlers themselves, there aren't many options for my size dog. She seems to prefer the Elk over the Mule deer, but chews on both. From Mtn Dog Chews- We added mule deer and moose chews to the site as of about 10 months ago, so far we have yet to offer less selection, and our antlers are still fresh from the most recent spring, meaning right now we are using fresh 2017 elk, deer, and moose antler sheds from Montana, Idaho, Utah and Wyoming. I have many dogs (2 full-size German Shepherds, 2-five month old German Shepherd pups, 2-elderly pugs, and 1-mini dachshund)..yes I said many. They all were quite and happy for a long. No hesitation to order these products again.

I already wrote a private post to Mountain chews about my dissatisfaction with this latest order of mine. This was either my third or fourth shipment and prior to this I was very happy with all of my purchases. My dogs,however, wouldn't touch any of the Mule Deer Chews in this fourpack. I don't know why but I have to guess that maybe they weren't as fresh as the other stuff I ordered in my three previous shipments. I am just guessing though. REPLY FROM MOUNTAIN DOG CHEWS- The medium Mule deer antlers are fresh, could be your dogs simply prefer our elk antlers. WE have lots of Pups that love mule deer antlers, it would not be an issue of freshness but preference by you particular Dog at that particular time. We have seen Dogs change their mind the next day, so you never know they might want them next time.

Even though they smell as long as my dogs like them I do not care. My dogs seem to like the medium moose paddle the best so I will be placing an order for more of those this week I hope. There are a few of us in the neighborhood and we have shared different chews from your store and as a result there are now three of us in our small area. Word of mouth is the best. We like to share.
