Mammoth Whole Elk Antler Dog Chew

My White German Shepherd Romeo, weighing in at 120lbs at 1 1/2 years old, LOVES the antlers we order. This is our third order, 2 whole mammoth and 1 split mammoth, we needed it for our travel trailer and camping trips. We tried him on Nylabones but he destroyed them in no time and I'm a little worried about the unnatural substance. Have reccomended these to my boss who after meeting Romeo got 2 black and tan Shepherds, he just tried them and is amazed at how they hold up to the chewing needs of the dogs.

My 6 year German Shepherd is an antler connoisseur. I have purchased supposedly Grade A antlers from elsewhere and sometimes she is simply not interested. Loves the ones from Mountain Dog Chews. My puppy was frantic as soon as the box arrived in the house, so they must smell really good. I got two mammoths at the same time and as described, there is variation but if you put a note in the comment section, they do try to get you what you would prefer depending on how your dog chews them.

This was a gift for Maya, and she loves it!! She'll find the best way to get at it and once she finds it, she'll chew on it for hours!!! Afterwards, she's so knock that she'll sleep for hours!! This product will last for months, definitely recommend this for any dog!!

I have a 135lb Leonberger and this bone almost seems big for him! What a great price for a quality product. This bone will last a long time and it is worth the price.

Too big for my 45 lb. Pit bull, she prefers a bit smaller so she can control the chewing angle with her paws.

We ordered the 'mammoth whole' antler for our 85lb chocolate lab January of 2014. He previously destroyed all other toys/chews in hours but as of today (December 11mo later) there is still about 50% of the antler left and that is with hard DAILY use. The antler is HUGE think about as round as a coke can! Yes they are quite expensive but over the long term it is actually more cost effective. We will be ordering another within the next month or two. BOTTOM LINE: Cost effective and the dog loves it. Don't think order one!

Got Mountain Chews for Romeo, a Rottie. He got stomach issues from rawhide. Unfortunately tried to get his opinion on Chews but refused to talk as he was chewing on the mammoth sized one. When he talks, will give you his opinion. For me, did not look tasty unless you make one with BBQ sauce. Good product for Romeo.

Bought this for our guy after surgery when he was supposed to remain calm. It keeps him busy for hours! Thanks for a great product.

We have five large dogs. We used to give them bully sticks but they smelled very bad and sometimes gave them intestinal issues. Raw hides are not an option because most come from China and are not digestible. A friend told me she gives her dogs elk antlers because they just ate the dental treats. No smell, no mess, and even after five days of chewing, you can hardly tell they've been chewed on. This is an extremely high quality product and I would strongly recommend purchasing any size. No splintering or breaking and the dogs love the marrow. These will last a very long time. I'm a crazy owner that always contacts the company before buying anything for my "kids" and Michelle was so nice to respond to all questions. Buy these and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
