Mammoth Whole Elk Antler Dog Chew

This antler is such a higher quality than what I have been purchasing locally at the chain pet stores. It has a pleasant, light and woodsy smell that I haven't had before with the older antlers. This was such a delightful surprise, and I am sure makes it all the more flavorful for the dogs while reassuring me of the quality and freshness. I purchased thinking that this antler would be a decent size and might last a few weeks at most for my aggressive chewer, but it is much larger than I was expecting, and I have high hopes that it will finally slow him down! I have one large and one XL dog (ie: a lab and a Great Dane). I needed to find an antler that was large enough for both of them as we do not separate toys, and they are generally very good about sharing. Except with antlers, apparently. :) I have bought one for the both of them, and when the lab had it, the Dane would wait for the lab to take a break, and she would walk up and steal it. Hence the need for a second one. We actually have to take the antlers away from the dogs because they love them so much, and they will chew continuously. These are terrific, and I have already started recommending them to others.

Our Alaskan malamute is about 2 1/2 years old, and has inherited the infamous " beaver gene". He love to gnaw on large hunks of firewood bringing them from the wood pile to the fireplace. He is about 100 lbs, and very strong. He loves the massive antler, and has put it in the place of honor when he isn't taking it with him. He has been ignoring the rest of his bone and antler collection, since this arrived a few weeks ago. He definitely likes the freshness and aroma. He knew what was in the package as soon as it arrived. Intense lazer beam focus, as I unwrapped it. Now he is bringing in less wood, too...

I think I have finally found something that will last! Both my Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever love these antlers!

Great product but my dog has a on and off love affair with it. Some days she will chew for hours, others not so much. I think next time I need to purchase the half one so she has more access to the marrow.

Kato our English Mastiff absolutely loves his mammoth chew. We gave it to him wrapped for a Christmas present. He had no problem picking it out from the other presents :)

I have a Portuguese Water Dog named Oliver who can't get enough of the Mammoth Elk Antler. He chews all day and leaves us alone at night now when we are watching a movie. The antler is HUGE and he loves trying to get at the marrow inside. It doesn't splinter or mess up the rugs or smell. His teeth are white and plaque free and he's a happy camper! Would highly recommend to anyone with a tenacious chewer.

The mammoth whole elk antler was everything that it was advertised for. It was very large in size and my german shepherd is absolutely crazy about it.

I have three dogs that love antlers. I have had a difficult time finding them locally and especially trouble finding large antlers. Then somehow I happened on the website for Mountain Dog Chews and thought I would give them a try. A girlfriend and I went together and placed an order a few months ago and our dogs enjoyed them so much just recently I ordered 3 whole mammoth chews and a couple of medallions. My dogs chew on them constantly. They are so much better than bones: no mess, no splintering, no diarrhea, no smell and they last a long time. They help to keep my dogs busy in the evening when I don't have time to play with them and their teeth are pearly white! I was afraid that chewing on something so hard might break or wear down their teeth, but no, that is not happening at all. My dogs are 50 pounds, 35 pounds and 20 pounds, so they are not big dogs but they love the large size of the mammoth chew. These are well worth the money and much better than anything I've been able to find anyplace else. If you are looking for quality chews this is the company!
